A table setting inspiration shoot (on our balcony)

Hey my lovely readers,I am so very sorry that I didnt have the time, energy or inspiration to post anything in such a long time. The two large events I managed for my soon to be ex-employer literally sucked all energy out of me. The little time I had left, I spent a) with my husband and daughter and b) with my business partner Lotta. Weve been working on a few inspiration shoots, of which Id like to share one with you today. This is a very simple table setting we made out of the leftover centerpieces from two events Ive arranged. We reconstructed the flower arrangements - used only the white blooms, added some fresh greens from a nearby forest, stuck them onto flower sponge and set these onto birch log pieces. The place cards were made from simple wrapping paper and water color, packing string and a single flower wrapped around a white disposable napkin. As a table runner we used a scarf - a simple trick when you dont have a runner of the right type and color at hand. If youre anything like me, you probably have 10 times as many scarves as table runners at home.Oh, and please dont mind the surrounding setting. We were planning to take this project out into the park or to the beach, but it started to rain just when we were about ready to leave. So, we stayed on our balcony and probably entertained our neighbours quite a bit. All pictures by me for Hey Look (yes, thats our new companys name)
