“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015.”

Sunny: It was one hell of a week. Snow days and Stomach Bug Days (for all Carts, and times two for this mama), but on the upside, Sunny is now missing two baby teeth and has an excellent space to balance a straw in her new mug (both center bottom teeth are now missing. So freaking grown up!). P.S. This heart braid is quite simple – just make two braids close together, then wrap and pin half buns and use an elastic to connect the hair and make the point of the heart.
Kaki: She spent the week acting out nursery rhythms (“London Bridges” and “I’m a Little Teapot” are her favorites) and mastering the letter “I” in school. She was by far the most resilient of all in vomit-recovery.
