What was your first kiss like?

What was your first kiss like? Recently, I was asked to share my first kiss experience, and honestly, I must have buried that memory in the deepest, darkest place of my brain and soaked it in a punch bowl of Glenlivet because it was HARD to remember.
I was 16 or 17, at a party, and my so-called BFF came up with the GRAND idea of playing spin the bottle to get my crush and I to kiss. I was so nervous and didn't want my first kiss to be in front of a bunch people, but I spun the stupid bottle anyway. What happened next was just my luck: I landed on a friend who I didn't want to kiss and my loyal BFF landed on my crush. She then planted a long, lingering kiss on him as I watched with fire in my eyes. Such fun memories!!!
All this talk about first kisses had me wondering about other people's experiences. So I asked a few friends to share their first kiss stories...enjoy:
"I don't count my first kiss until I was 17, I didn't count pecks or things like that. This was the full blown thing. My girlfriend at the time was 16 and we were at her house, she brought me upstairs and we started kissing in her room. Both of her parents were downstairs, so the thrill of that made it all a lot more exciting. We broke up about two weeks after that. After this first time, she had the worst breath." - Jesse


"I was in the sixth grade. I can't remember my age. That's too much math. His name was Joshua and we had been going out for a week. He had green eyes and his hair was curlier than mine. It was after school and I was waiting to be picked up by my mother. He walked me to the gate and we hugged. Just the hug alone was awkward so I was nervous for the kiss. I could tell it was coming. I just closed my eyes and he laid one on me. His lips were really wet and it grossed me out. I took a step back, laughed and then ran to the car." -Chelsea
"I was in eighth grade when I had my first kiss. I was 14 years old and I was going on my first cruise to Mexico. When you're a teenager, they have certain activities on the ship and during the early nights they open up the club on the ship. So, it was probably the third night on the ship and I had hung out with this group of friends and we decided to go to the club. It was super romantic because we were in the club and "smack that" was playing. Me and this girl started dancing with each other, which was also my first time grinding with a girl. And then I went in for it, I kissed her. And it was magical. So magical that I'm a huge homosexual now. The end." - Ryan

"I’ve had a few fist kisses. I like to think that there’s a few significant “first kisses.” There's The First Kiss, where your lips touch another person’s lips and then there’s the other first kiss with your first love or someone you really just wanted to kiss. My first kiss ever was with a guy my in high school marching band. It was on the bus coming home from a football game and it was awkward. I think I even did that thing where you turn your head away really quickly because one kiss was enough. My first kiss with my first love was on the couch after a lunch date. We were sitting close to each other and we were both noticeably nervous. He kept talking and inching closer to me. I had a feeling what he wanted to do so I just said "I'm bad at these things," and he went for it. Those awkward moments are fun, not at the time maybe, but that's what makes first kisses memorable." -Michelle
