Amsterdam Trip
So, a couple of weeks ago himself and I headed over to Amsterdam for a little birthday celebration (his not mine!). It was cold, cold, COLD! Despite taking pretty much every item of warm clothing that we own between us it was necessary to buy a new hat and scarf (don’t give me that look!). Here are some of the photos from our trip. There are a couple that obviously are kept just for us but these are ones that we both agreed to share.
We got our priorities straight when we arrived and headed straight for the shop.

The last time I was in Dam I fell in love with the flower market and had to revisit.
Still didn’t give in to buying a pair of clogs.
As much as I love Starbucks I was sad to see that a favourite cafe was shut down and bought out by the chain. And before you say it not that kind of coffee shop.
As you can see we did a LOT of walking and found some beautiful parts of the canal and lovely side streets.
We managed to do the tourist thing and get another tourist to get a snap of us.
He made us laugh as his girlfriend got in the picture and he told her quickly to ‘MOVE’!!!
