Tan Cardigan + Side Cutout Booties
Happy Saturday, friends! This week has definitely been a long one, and I am not sad to see it go! From the nonstop rain in the beginning of the week to me feeling a little under the weather from the temperature change it’s been one of those weird long weeks. Thankfully the weather the last few days has cleared up, and I’ve had the chance to begin clearing out the space that Armaan and I are converting into my office! Y’all…this office will be one tough renovation, but I’m kind of excited for it. It was originally a porch that was converted into another room – which is great… But, since it was a porch, it’s more of a rectangle shape and a lot windows had to be added so it wouldn’t feel like a tunnel. 20 windows to be exact. With a lot of oak trim. That I will be attempting to paint in the next week. I feel confident because I watch a lot of HGTV, but I have a feel once I start it I will realize how overly optimistic I was. Haha!
One of my go-tos for fall days is a neutral cardigan! I picked up this one from Nordstrom a few months ago, and it’s been one of my favorites. I’ve been leaning towards darker, richer neutrals for the cooler months! Burgundy, olive, mustard, tan, brown, black, etc. have been frequents in my online carts. Playing with those shades in these months is great because it makes mixing and matching so easy! Throw this cardigan over a plaid and leggings or a light sweater and olive jeans – either way it works! Best part? There are so many affordable options (love this one) out right now you can add a few different colors to your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
To all my girls in the Southeast and anyone else who is affected by hurricane Matthew, I’m keeping you in my prayers and thoughts. Be safe! xo
