city slicker

When I was in New York last week, Bonnie and I got to take outfit pictures together - just like the good ole roommate days! Oh, college. It was the best. I also scored these sweet boots (Men's, of course) from a vintage store on one of our morning walks.
Visiting New York for my very first time was definitely a whirlwind, and I enjoyed every second of it. It was amazing to experience the many fleeting moments of intimacy that are just bound to happen in the masses. There's something so magical and energizing about making prolonged eye contact with someone on the subway, or exchanging glances/smiles while standing in line for a bagel. Lots of life in the city for sure.
As much as I loved being there, though, I've never felt so sure that I'm undoubtedly EXACTLY where I'm supposed to be right now - in little Fayetteville, Arkansas. It's my home, and I love coming back here after a good trip; it feels just right. Okay, enough emo Laura for now. Happy, happy spring!
P.S. These pictures were taken on the street where Carrie Bradshaw's stoop was filmed on Sex and the City...hell yeah.
wearing: grey dog vintage hot pants & jean jacket, vintage boots, and thrifted shirts.
