What I Wore | Cozy for Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! I've been rather busy the past couple days with work (Ulta has been crazy busy with Christmas being tomorrow), running grown-up errands, and attending a Christmas cookie decorating/welcome home/birthday party for one of our dear friends who has been a missionary teacher in Africa the past two years.

This morning me & Gaby made a run to Starbucks to pick up a coffee, as our latte machine is broken, and we need the coffee. Then in the afternoon some friends came over for a MARVEL get-together, where we ended up watching: Guardians of the Galaxy (it was the first time any of us had seen it) and a couple of episodes from Agents of SHIELD (first series). Now this evening me & Gaby are watching a film we have been saving for this week: Funny Girl (1968).

What did y'all do on Christmas Eve?

What I'm Wearing Grey Turtleneck -- BCBGeneration via LeTote (borrowing) Skinny Jeans -- Jessica Simpson via Simply Chic ($3.80) Scarf -- Portobello Road Market (£3.50) Leopard Flats -- Target ($15) Candy Cane Post Earrings -- Dry Goods ($3) Nail Polish -- Essie in Carry On Lip Combo: NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in Damned, and Bite Beauty Lip Gloss in Current
I went with a rather comfy outfit today. After wearing all-black dressy outfits for work so much the past week, I've been loving comfy outfits (even if they don't have a ton of color, just so they are comfy) for my days-off. I must say, I've come to really appreciate the following things this year since starting to work in retail: knit tee shirts, relaxing baths for sore muscles, slippers, and yes, even sweatpants sometimes have their purpose.
This month I've been trying out a new subscription site called, Le Tote for free, thanks to their Black Friday deal that I stumbled across in time early this month. This subscription site is for those who adore fashion and love higher-end brands like: French Connection, BCBGeneration, Steve Madden, BB Dakota, and lots of other brands that are sold at stores like Anthropologie. Of course, with these higher-end brands comes with a higher cost for the subscription of $49 a month. With this higher price point you can receive unlimited totes each month filled with clothes and accessories for you to borrow, then if you love anything in the box you may keep it and they will charge you a member price for the article that you kept.
So far for LeTote I've come to discover that I adore the brand: BCBGeneration as their clothing is top-notch, it fits me like I was the model for the sizing (which is rare for me), and their long sleeve tops are actually long sleeves on my super long arms (another rare thing for me). To say the least, I'll be keeping an eye out for this brand at: thredUP, Clothes Mentor, and Simply Chic.
