HOT PURSUIT! A Night Out with The Ladies.

When is the last time you had a girls night out? To be honest it’s been forever for me! I see my girlfriends all the time but a dedicated girls night out never happens around here. So when I got the opportunity to see a screening of Hot Pursuit I was SO happy because I got to bring my friends with me! (My friends are so spoiled! They come to events with me, get lots of free stuff and all because I love them :))

The screening was held in Tribeca at the Tribeca theater. SheKnows & Hot Pursuit banded together for a super awesome cocktail party with yummy eats, drinks and more!

When we first walked in we were greeted with the cocktails and then I saw something that made my inner (outer?) child squeal with joy. A candy bar! There was a candy bar with hot tamales, Swedish fish (my favorite!), m&ms, jawbreakers and of course sour patch kids. Each guest got to choose a mix of their favorites!

Further in the room there was a great popcorn bar with exotic flavors of popcorn including:

• Margarita

• Truffle cheddar

• Spicy Cajun

• And my favorite…caramel!

The appetizers were really yummy too!

Because we are a bunch of bloggers we had to take several pictures on the red carpet.

Finally after a lot of laughs and a lot of drinks for the girls, it was finally time to see the movie!

It was legit funny. I don’t mean watch the movie and internally chuckle every few minutes because it takes me much energy to actually laugh–I mean a real movie that makes you laugh from the gut! I am a huge fan of both Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon so for me it was a match made in heaven.

If you love Sofia in Modern Family, she is a turned up version of that character in Hot Pursuit. Also, if you are a fan of the Legally Blonde series (like I am, hello? obsessed!), Reese Witherspoon channels her comedy chops for this role. I forgot how truly funny Reese is! There is one scene with um, white powder, that had me laughing until I had tears in my eyes! Take a girlfriend or three to see this movie and you will love it! Then make sure you let me know how much you loved it.
