One of the highlights of my weekend was attending the HP MyPrintly Party. The Disney Social Media Moms Conference was the next day so it was tons of Disney fun mixed in with fantastic printing technology.
The party was filled to the brim with local and out of town bloggers. Maria Bailey and her amazingly nice MomSelect Team greeted us with big smiles, raffle tickets and a swag bag full of fun things.
There were several stations around the conference room and the first place that I went to was the living wall where they selected instagram pics from each attendee and had everyone vote on which one they liked the most. Spoiler alert: I didn’t win. But it was so cute to see my pic of me and my youngest up there!
Next we went over to tryout the new printing technology that HP has to offer. Did you know you could automatically print your social media photos by connecting your profiles? How cool is that? I just love this idea because it seems like we enjoy pictures in the moment, rarely do we create photo albums to look back at in the future. This is a fantastic way to still stay social while preserving your memories on physical paper as well.
Next I scurried over to the cupcake decorating station because…well…cupcakes. I didn’t have my piping bag handy so the knife would have to suffice. The sprinkles and such made it really good plus I had really great company of women that I’ve never met before. (I was extra chatty.)
Next I did something that I had no business doing. I tried to get crafty. I looked around and everyone was decorating insanely gorgeous picture frames. There was Disney themed tape, buttons, bling and more. Of course, I attempted to make one and failed–miserably. However, I still love it.
We also learned about the HP at home service. The low cost monthly service that automatically sends you replacement ink when your printer gets low. There have been many times in my past where I have been out late at night trying to find a Staples to buy ink. The printers automatically send the ink when they get the signal from the printer that the ink is low. How convenient is that?
Afterwards it was time for ice cream sundaes!
It was such a fun event and I can’t wait to check out all the HP products!
