Wait, it's been how long?

Guys, how long has it been since we talked? More than a year?! I can hardly believe it. It flew by.

My blogging hiatus was never intentional. I didn't mean to slip away, but I did. I got really busy and overwhelmed (still am) and I let the blog take the back burner.

Then, when I felt the urge to write, nothing come out. I felt that I had nothing worthy to say for my blog. I won't lie, sometimes it's a relief not having to worry about this blog. Not having to remember to post consistently enough. Not having to worry about the other work that comes with running a blog. Updating social media, commenting on other blogs, etc. You guys all know what I'm talking about.

But other times? I miss the hell out of this little space of mine I once so adored. I still check up on my fave blog friends every now and then. I'm a rare commenter these days, but I still enjoying reading.

I played around with the idea of switching to Wordpress, which I'd still love to do, but then I realized what an investment it is, money wise. And with how rare I am blogging, I couldn't help but ask myself if it's worth it? Maybe moving would give me the jolt I need to start blogging again? I have no idea. All I know is that today, I felt really detatched from the blogging world and the friends I've made here, and I felt like writing a little.

I was over at my friend Joey's blog, and I thought I'd use some questions she recently posted as my first post in a while. Read if you want, if not, that's OK too.

1. What's the one food you could eat forever and never get tired of?
Chipotle. Anytime I can't make a decision about where to eat, I always go there. Even if I had it the night before.

2. Best book you've read in the last 5 years? Gone Girl. Loved it. Loved the movie too.
3. Haircut, manicure or pedicure? Which is your favorite to go have done? All of the above? :) I get manicures most often out of all of the 3.
4. Clothes and shoes or make up and nail polish? Which are you more likely to spend all your money on? Clothes and shoes, for sure. I have a habit of buying and forgetting about them in my closet, oops.
5. Biggest pet peeve? Being interrupted when I'm talking.
6. A bad habit you have but wish you didn't? Over-analyzing every little thing people say/do.
7. Would you rather be hot or cold? Hot, for sure. I can't stand to be cold.
8. Favorite date you've ever been on? I like low-key dates. Dinner and fro-yo and home to watch a Redbox is perfect for me.
9. Phone calendar or paper planner? If paper, which one do you use? I really like paper planners, but I use my phone a lot too. So both?
10. How often do you "go home" to see your folks? Luckily, my parents both live 15 min from me, so I see them at least once a week.
