Thanks (or due to) jet lag, we woke up pretty early each morning – which does have some benefits like having otherwise busy places to yourself for taking outfit pictures. We stayed in the neighborhood of the Flatiron district at the Rogers (the beds are quite divine) – very close to our last choice of stay (the Ace hotel) somewhere in the middle of Manhattan. Quite a good location, although if I would ever stay in New York again, I’d probably go for a spot in the West Village. Even though the days were super sunny, it was rather cold on the first day – which means wrapping myself in a large blanket-size cardigan was more than necessary.
