The Great Escape with UGG

Happy Easter! I’m taking you guys back to another sunny day at the beginning of this week, when UGG invited me for their Great Escape event. Location? Alas, no tropical island but instead a beautiful house in Antwerp I’d love to call my own (hello, perfection!). I’d actually been there before for another event, but can’t say it bothered me being back. It was all about a delicious BBQ buffet, Pinterest-worthy table settings, a beautiful pool and backyard – oh, and of course the UGG spring collection, which is looking more than divine.

For a person whose feet always feel like ice cubes during winter, I pretty much wore these non stop around the house the last months. And now that summer is almost here, I’m glad I can trade in my cozy boots for trendy leopard espadrilles. I think I have another shoe crush on my hands (or is it feet?) – how could I not? They feel and look luxurious, and are super pretty at the same time. Did I mention there’s a soft wool cushion at the back to protect your heel?

It’s safe to say I absolutely adore the direction the brand is going in this season, and that I’ll be wearing these leopards on my feet pretty much non-stop. Oh, and by the way: summer – I’m more than ready for you too!
