Real Baby Shower: Pink and Paris

Jaye Kogut Photography was not only the photographer, but also the amazing event planner for this fabulous Parisian themed shower. C'est Magnifique! Hosted at New Jersey's Cafe Paris, the perfect setting for a french themed soirée, this baby shower had the most stunning dessert table -- a mixture of parisian accents with pink, red and white goodies. And... If that wasn't enough... Jaye has also shared the OH SO CUTE baby photos here. Yeah!

From Jessica... The inspiration came from Bernadette. She visited France a few years ago and fell in love with the culture, the food and the atmosphere. When her family found out she was pregnant, her best friend and sister threw her the best shower a girl can get - Parisian themed! Everything was DIY at this shower. The cupcakes AND cupcake stand were hand made - the candy buffet was garnished with all feminine/girly colors; red, pinks and whites. French Macaroons were even shipped in from France! The bouquets were handmade by the hostesses and adorned with black glittery bows that the soon-to-be grandma helped create! The paris and travel themed books were from Michaels along with the Eiffel tower wish card stand (which was actually a jewelry stand -how clever!) The wish cards were made in lieu of a guest book and let the guests finish sayings like "I hope you love.....I hope you learn...". The mom to be was ecstatic and completely surprised by this shower. It took place at a beautiful small FRENCH cafe in the heart of Metuchen, New Jersey, with real fresh, French cuisine. The pink 'french' Essie nail polish and nail file favors were adorable and of course, no baby shower is complete without cute baby outfits and gifts to open!
