new in | stockholm shopping

well hey there!
sorry it's been a little while since my last post, I took a little break to spend some time with my family and catch up on some necessary (but very dull) admin!
before my time off my adorable bf whisked me away for a surprise birthday trip and I fell thoroughly in love with all stockholm had to offer. from quirky interior boutiques to amazing vintage thrift shops I was in heaven.. I wanted to share some of the trinkets I picked up with you guys!
in terms of a city break I couldn't recommend a trip more, the people are simply wonderful. I was so inspired by their design and interiors I've made the decision to invest more money on key pieces and really slimline what I introduce.. I'm taking a more minimal approach to home shopping.
I wanted to pick up a few things to inspire me but also to remind me of my trip so I headed to grandpa.
grandpa has the most beautiful homewares I've ever had the pleasure (or torture) of seeing. I picked up these alphabet cards and clips pictured above for hanging wall art. we also picked up a copper light fixture and bulbs that I haven't unpacked yet!
the good (or bad news) is they ship to the uk, james and I will be ordering regularly going forward!

their charity shops were a highlight for me, I spent a whole day dragging james into every one I spotted! I picked up these terracotta pots and hammered bowl for a few pound, the dish is perfect fit for my bedside table so I keep all my lotions and skincare potions in it!

I've ordered from h&m home a few times now but nothing beats actually being able to see everything in the flesh.. I was excited to discover a branch around the corner from our apartment! when we packed for our trip it was very last minute so we only bought the essentials.. good job as my rucksack was crammed with glass vases and copper trays on the way home!
I'm still amazed I managed to get it all home without any breakages.. go me!
