Confession, I, have a love/hate relationship with change and a sometimes irrational fear of things going wrong. And sometimes those fears are realized. This week I upgraded my hosting and went with a company that gets rave reviews, but I didn’t research hard enough and was attracted by fancy servers and cool gadgets. The result was that we were not compatible. It caused my site to go up and down. The move went smoothly, but within a day I was having serious issues. The hosting has VERY restrictive CPU limits, lower than most in the industry, and a ridiculous execution limit which doesn’t work well with WordPress. Needless to say, I am in the process of moving to another host. I am writing this at midnight on Saturday because I have no idea when the move will happen or how long my site will be up in the morning. Hopefully, I will be up and running normally soon. I am mentally exhausted from the ordeal and fear I have actually caused myself to become ill. I apologize to all of you and thank you for reaching out and checking on me.
