Chiltern Firehouse

Quite recently, André Balazs has decided to launch Chiltern Firehouse Restaurant as his new business in the capital. The Restaurant was built up in an old fire station in Marylebone.

The decoration is based on the original appearance from the old firehouse with high ceilings and large doors. The walls are made out with brick tiles, the floors are wooden and the benches are green which give a quite modern look to the place.

The menu has a quite high influence from the American cuisine, however, with a touch of elegance, magnificence and delicacy. The house’s chef, Nuno Mendes, has implemented a variety of dishes on the menu which come from a simple snacks to crab doughnuts or slow-roasted short rib.

It is considered to be one of the most exciting recent openings in London, worth trying it out!
