February 2015 Favourites

February always goes by so fast. It's only a couple days shorter than any other month yet it feels like it's a whole week shorter. Funny how it feels that way.
I think it's obvious by now that I can't get enough of MAC Syrup. It is such a wearable everyday cloudy pink shade and because it is a luster finish, it is nourishing enough to battle the freezing cold weather, keeping my lips comfortably moisturized. One that also keeps my lips surprisingly hydrated is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu. You wouldn't expect a matte finish lip product to be comfortable on the lips but this one is and it is long lasting too.
Of course I can't mentioned just one NARS product in a post these days. The new NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation quickly became my favourite as it gives the most skin-like full coverage without being cakey. It's an interesting consistency for me compared to other foundations I have used in the past as it is quite fluid and applies best with fingers but I've learned to work with it and love it.
I got back into the smudged, lived-in look of pencil eyeliners this month and thanks to the Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes eyeliner everything stays in place throughout the day. I tend to avoid pencil liners because they slip and slide during the day for me but I never have to worry about that with this one.
On the hair front, I've been absolutely in love with the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer. Forget the primer part of the name as I don't fully understand how it is a primer, but focus on the fact that it is an amazing leave-in conditioner. Even on my fine hair it isn't too heavy so I'm left with soft and nourished hair, not weighed down and oily hair that I dread. The full size of this will definitely be coming home with me soon.
What did you enjoy using throughout February?
