What's In My Repurposed Flowerpot

My dressing table houses re-purposed flowerpots from IKEA that hold some of my everyday makeup items. This little one is full of eye products and a couple lip pencils that just sit better in a pot. My roommates love rummaging through this to see what is on rotation, so let's take a look.

In terms of tools, I have some staples every girl should probably own. Firstly, slanted tweezers to keep my brows in check. Mine are just basic ones by Revlon from the drugstore. An everyday tool for me is the Shiseido Eyelash Curlers as my lashes are long but stick straight. I never apply mascara without using these first. If they're a bit dirty and I haven't cleaned them yet, I use my backup Koji ones that I got from Hong Kong years ago.

Starting off as a base, I'm reaching for the Urban Decay Primer Potion before applying any powder eyeshadows. It helps make the shadows more vibrant and long lasting on the lids. If I'm in a hurry, I'll reach for a Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes. I have the shades Lots o' Latte and Fuller Fudge, both wearable neutral shades that are a total no-brainer in the mornings. I don't need a primer with these so I just swipe it on and blend it out.
To line the eyes, I've been working with a selection of pen liners and a pencil. I'm seeing the end of my beloved Kat Von D Tattoo Liner so I'm switching to the Soap and Glory Supercat Liner until I get a new one. Both are fantastic as they are easy to work with a long lasting, even on my oilier lids. For a pencil, I love the Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes liner as it is easy to smudge when applied but sets well to avoid unwanted smudging throughout the day, even on the waterline.
Mascara is a must and we all know how much I love the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. On the top lashes, I've been working through mascara samples. Currently, I'm trying out the Buxom Full & Fabulous mascara. I actually quite like it though if my eyes ever water, I will get smudges all under my eyes. Surprisingly, this mascara holds a curl which is a rare find for me and it gives a lot of length and volume.

Lastly with the lip pencils, I of course have two of the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in there. I have the shades Train Bleu and Dragon Girl. More suited for the spring and summer, I have the Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Corvina. This gorgeous coral pink is my go-to for the warmer months while the other two are more for the autumn and winter.
I'm always curious to see how people store their makeup. How do you store yours?
