So one of the most exciting launches in the beauty industry since Sam and Nic launched their real techniques brushes has to be the launch of Tanya Burr's Lips & Nails. Now I know I'm a little late to the party, but trust me I was eagerly awaiting for Tanya's range to go live on the very first day of her launch, and I know I wasn't the only one ...
There are 12 shades of lip gloss, and 8 nail polish in total. And if I'm honest, I want every single one. Quite often I will watch one of Tanya's videos / vlogs and wonder what she's wearing on her lips, and 9/10 times it will be one of her beautiful glosses. (Chic and Picnic in the park are my favourites)
One of my favourite aspects of the branding are the names for each gloss and polish - Champagne toast, afternoon tea, picnic in the park and penguin chic are a few of my favourites. It's a really nice personal touch to each product, and obviously those are things that make Tanya happy. Hence why I chose Champagne toast & mini marshmallows!
In terms of the product themselves, Champagne toast is a really lovely nude lipgloss that adds a nice sheen, but doesn't have that overly 'sticky' feeling that some glosses have. Champagne toast is one lip product I tend to reach for most days now and I'm already eyeing up a few extras for my professional kit.
Mini Marshmallow nail polish is a beautiful classic pale pink. It's easy to wear and makes nails look clean & healthy. It's my go to shade for everyday, when I just want to quickly apply something, and my oh my does it last. I found this lasted around 4 days before any chips appeared. Hooray!
I am so pleased for Tanya, I can't wait to see what's next in her range.
