Make Up Haul

After my week of illness I ventured into town to get some new beauty products. Yes I did spend a lot but I haven't done a make up shop in a long time so it was well over due. Some products were recommended by Youtube Vloggers such as
Carli Bybel. She is my most favourite and fabulous beauty blogger ever. When you've been run down for a while you feel pale and anxiety peaks, so it was good to have a little pamper session, do your nails, put on a gentle tan for a bit of a glow.
What I bought:- -Smashbox Primer, Photo Finish Foundation Primer The bigger bottle this time as I hope it'll last longer. Anouska recommended it and I've loved it ever since. It's lightweight and gives you perfect base for your foundation.
-L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Foundation in Porcelain This is the best foundation I've tried yet. Used by Carli in her Drugstore Product Video, she used it for contouring, something I can't do very well. Its lightweight and dries quickly which its perfect for a foundation. My old one I used was Rimmel, Match Perfect in Ivory. It was greasy and way to heavy to wear. It's pricey and comes in a small bottle but it's worth it.
-Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in colour Transparent. This is perfect for parts of your face that gets greasy. I've noticed it really gives me a lovely base colour to start applying my other make up too.
-Rimmel Sun Shimmer Bronzer in Light Shimmer Its not the best bronzer but I add a bit of red to it and it seems to work nicely with my complexion. I've been terrible with bronzer, never blending it in properly.
-Maybelline Instant Anti- Age, The Eraser Eye Concealer This was suggested by Carli, its to cover the dark circles under your eyes, she uses an orange concealer first but its hard to get hold of in places such as Boots. I completely love it, its small to carry around in your bag, it comes with a spongey brush at the top to apply the product.
-Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer So when I attempt to contour I just highlight places instead of the full contouring, which I personally find too complicated for everyday make up.
-Smashbox Layer Lash Primer I've always had short eyelashes and the results from using this primer is unbelievable, it gives them so much more length and really opens up my eyes, ironically.
-Rimmel London Glam' Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara I actually found this on one of
Becca Rose Beauty Video. I've admired her long luscious lashes for a while and thought maybe I could get that effect using this product. It does make them longer, but the actually mascara itself is quite clumpy so thats something I'm still trying to figure out.
Lots of love,
Charlotte x
