Explain your personal style. My personal style can range anywhere from very edgy and urban to boho and casual. I try to plan my outfits around whats in now, and also the occasion. My outfits really depend on what day it is, but whatever it may be I always make sure that I feel confident and most of all, comfortable!!
Who are your style icons?
I don't really have a particular style icon. I enjoy the different looks I see on Pinterest, Instagram, and blogs online. If I absolutely love the look, then I remake it with the items I already have in my closet.

Have you ever struggled with self-identity issues because of your complexion? If so what are some things you did to accept yourself for who you are and love yourself? I have struggled with my complexion before. I always wanted to have the long flowy straight hair like a lot of non minority girls have. I also wanted to be the skinny size 0 white girl a few years back. One thing that I never actually accepted was that the people around me daily loved me for the dark-skin chocolate girl that I am. It was just me telling myself that I was never good enough, and that I would never feel accepted by Aysha. Over time I eventually began to see that I am beautiful. Chocolate skin, curves and all! It took time, but now I'm in a place where this is the most comfortable and confident I have ever been in myself. I thank God for that!

Do you have any advice for other dark-skinned women that are struggling with accepting themselves because of the color of their skin? Don't ever compare yourself to other people.. That's the worst way to bring yourself down and feel insecure. Embrace everything that God gave you, people will appreciate you for it.
What do you like most about being dark-skinned? I love that being dark-skinned is such a unique feature. We're all different shades, but in the end when we embrace the skin we're in, our confidence will shine through.

♥ Thank you so much Aysha for participating in the series!! You are such a beauty and I admire your confidence! Follow Aysha on Instagram: Nikkkifinch!
