Boom!

Hi everyone! I just got back from Maui, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Houston has finally cooled down. I have been buying Fall clothes for the last couple of months, and now I can finally wear them. I love this sweater from the Phillip Lim for Target collection. I have to say, many of the pieces were really disappointing; they either didn’t fit well or looked really cheap, but this sweatshirt was too cool to pass up. I paired it with a leather pencil skirt and some black booties by Elizabeth and James. I am also really into the dressed-up cap trend right now. I love this wool baseball cap from J.Crew (they also have an awesome rhinestone embellished one here).

By the way, I hope you like the new design of my blog. I thought after two years it was time for a change. I also changed the name of my blog, because after a lot of thought, I realized “chic chef” was confusing people into thinking I was a chef! Even though I still love fashion and food, I am also a new mom now, and I want my blog to reflect that. Hence the new name “Suri Says”, Suri being my daughter’s nickname.
