I'm not sure what made me suddenly become a knit beanie person this winter (perhaps out of necessity?) but a few years ago I would have never gone near them.
I suppose it is the same with all my previous hat loves - I was not always a 'hat person' - for years I insisted I simply did not look good in them, but with all new things there is an adjustment period. I was not a beanie person until I became accustom to how I looked in them, and now that I'm enjoying the coziness of a cashmere hat, it's hard to imagine not loving it.
