Afternoon Tea at IVIV (One Six Five) – Intercontinental Hotel KL

The trend of afternoon tea habitual craving is getting really addictive between the girls recently and one of my wishlist before end of 2013 will be try out all KL best hi-tea if is possible! :3 Honestly, I prefer to spend my kind of quality afternoon in this way instead of getting myself a major headache headed to the crowded shopping mall.

Received many good comments with my visited to all the afternoon tea places, perhaps I shall change my blog title into a hi-tea affairs blogger from of a lifestyle blogger?

So far the best afternoon tea and also one of my favorite place will definitely goes to OneSixFive at the Intercontinental Hotel KL. Pleasurable beautiful afternoon and enjoyed a remarkbly sinful afternoon tea date for some heart-to-heart girls talk with my sis Stacy.

So in-loved with the elegantly classy ambiance, a great place to get over on a lazy afternoon. With the luxury posh setting, shower with the natural sunlight spray onto your skin, comfy sofas, relaxing jazz music and so on. Ladies in leisure for the day and the services was really good, lovely sweet indulge moments of my life I would say.

Shanghai Rose for our choices of house tea selections, simply loved the way of using the honey stick to add some sweetness into the cup of hot tea. The friendly-bee waitress will also help you to refill your tea every 15mins to ensure that each cup of tea is always boiling HOT.

Royal Afternoon tea – raisin and plane scones (served with devonshire clotted cream and fresh preserves), pastries (lemon meringue tart, caramel eclair, chocolate and pistachio opera, green tea cream brulee, hazelnut and tonka been macaron) & savories (crab remoulade roll, smoked salmon and caviar crostini, lobster and asparagus bagel, peking duck roll with cucumber and hoisin, wagyu beef tartare with wasabi and brioche).

I personally loved the scones the most from the set because they served with juicy fresh cherries jam and not to mention the super creamy rich Australian clotted cream. :9

And also you must try the Tonka Been Macaroons, first bite with a little bit of bitter taste;
then the spicy flavors came and lastly is the typical macaroons sweetness. Guarantee you will like it, it might taste really funny for first timer to try it but trust me. I really likey this special yet weird flavors kind of macaroons!

Hi-tea is also defined as tea culture, western style of afternoon tea party. In addition to tea, the afternoon tea party is accompanied with variety of finger foods; cookies, sandwich and scones are all common.
Until today, the formal tea party still survives as social event or ceremony in special occasion. Beautiful opportunity for intimate conversation with a refreshing light meals.

Til then. Love, Chloe.
