♡ How to Get Perfect Brows | Chloe, xo ♡

Brows are a staple part of a makeup routine. They frame your face, and really do help to define your face shape. I spent years not doing my brows, I didn't really know how to, and my brows were not a great shape. I decided one day to start to pluck my brows. Tip number one. Never pluck your own brows for the first time, get them done professionally, I ended up with only half an eyebrow. It took forever to grow back, and I was scared to ever do my brows again. The next time I got my brows done, ever since, I cannot go a day without doing my brows as part of my makeup routine. I get my brows waxed every month. In between that, I do them myself. I have learnt some tips and tricks that have taught me how to do my brows perfectly myself. From grooming to filling in.
• As I said, it's always a good idea to go to get your brows done professionally. This gives you the initial, proper shape for your brows, and makes maintaining them much easier.
• Between getting your brows waxed, personally this is a week or two later for me. I pluck any little hairs that grow outside the brow shape that I want.
How to do your brows yourself!

• Follow the guidelines when your plucking or waxing your brows. The start should be a straight line from the side of the nostril. The arch should be from the corner of the nose, through the centre of the eye, when you extend that line, that's where your arch should be. The end of the brow should be the corner of the eye, corner of the eye and that line extended it where your tail should end!
• When your plucking your brows, always pull out the hair in the direction of hair growth, this makes sure your getting the whole hair, and hair root out.
• When waxing, always wax in the opposite direction of hair growth, and pluck away any hairs that still remain.
• After you have plucked out any stray hairs, you can trim your brows. This is really easy, and it's really hair to mess this part up. Just take a spooly brush and brush all the brow hairs up. Any hairs that are longer than the line shown in the picture (I don't know how to explain it). Do this for the tail also. The scissors should be short, you could even use nail or cuticle scissors.
