It's been a pretty dreary few days here in southern Mississippi, but the weather just can't seem to dampen my spirits because it's ALMOST CHRISTMAS ya'll! This year we have decided to shake things up a bit for our annual holiday feast and opted against the traditional turkey or roast and chose to go with an Italian themed meal (which apparently is quite popular or so I learned from the lady at the grocery store next to me also stocking up on absurd amounts of cheese!) I am in charge of making my mother-in-law's famous white chicken and spinach lasagna. and I cannot wait for the next few workdays to fly by so we can dive into all the holiday goodies and treats and just spend time with close family and friends.
OK enough with all this talk of yummy food (sorry I couldn't help myself) and on to today's outfit post! Like I said earlier, the weather was so uncooperative over the weekend, so I have basically been living in my comfortable jeans and slouchy sweaters. This J.CREW Factory knit has been a recent favorite of mine and with a distinct holiday theme it has been a great piece to pair with plaids, gingham, and any other festive colors (P.S. if you need a last minute Christmas gift, I highly recommend it!!)
