{Review} Bath & Body Works : Warm Vanilla Sugar

In my “New In” post a few weeks ago I mentioned that I got a new stash of Bath & Body Works products that I’ve been using for the past few weeks and I decided to break it up into two posts to prevent this post from being too lengthy. For today’s post I thought that I would share my thoughts on the Warm Vanilla Sugar, with you darlings.

Firstly I think this combo is definitely more of a winter/autumn scent but it definitely didn’t stop me from using it. I’ve been using the Shea and Vitamin E body lotion and the Triple Moisture Body Cream. To be totally honest, if I had to choose one of the two I would probably go with the Triple Moisture Body Cream because it is much more hydrating.

Warm Vanilla Sugar: Shea & Vitamin E – Body Lotion.
This body lotion is my night time treat. It doesn’t smell as potent as the body cream. The body lotion is thin but not very runny and spreads amazingly over the skin. I don’t know if its my imagination but to me it makes my hands a tad bit sticky (not much) but I can feel that there’s something on it and its definitely the feeling that I don’t like on my hands after using a hand lotion so I tend to wash my hands after I’ve applied it onto my body. I love the scent that lingers on my white sheets the morning after I’ve applied this body lotion and its safe to say that there’s no oil like stains because it absorbs into the skin quite fast.

Warm Vanilla Sugar: Triple Moisture Body Cream
This is definitely the preferred product out of the two that I’ve been using. Its much thicker in consistency and quite like a body butter. I love how it coats my skin leaving it extremely moisturised and I can even let it pass as a hand lotion because it doesn’t have that sticky feeling. I’ve also used these on my feet and put booties on in order to give it a deep moisture kind of effect and it totally worked. The scent of this body cream lingers hours after I’ve applied it and I haven’t see one dry crack since targeting my winter skin.

As you can tell Bath & Body Works products are really becoming the front runners in my best of beauty 2014 list but I can however tell you that this Warm Vanilla Sugar combo IS NOT my fave from the BBW bunch. I will do my part 2 review and tell you all about it.

If you’ve used Bath & Body Works products before what are your thoughts? And have you found a South African retailer that stocks this brand?
