Today I took the kids to the beach and I am
exhausted from being in the sun all day. The beach has a way of wiping me out and energizing me all at the same time.
I made this quilt 2 days before quilt market. I started to panic that I needed one more quilt to take. I probably didn’t need another quilt to take, but I was glad I had it.
This pattern is
Hoopla and the fabric is Hazel. I quilted it myself in a swirly design. You can always tell when I started to lose patience with quilting because the stitches get really big as I go faster and faster. It’s a good thing I’m not a longarm quilter. ;)
My kids have 11 more days of school and I could not be more ready for them to be done.
If you’re worried about what to do with your kids over the
summer this is a really great post to read, and it’s not about crafts or ways to fill the days. Bring on summer!
