Emery Community Arts Center, University of Maine at Farmington Hydrologic: Making sense with water - Art and science connecting on behalf of our most important element Sept 12, 5-7 111 South St, Farmington, Maine

‘Hydrologic’ is an exhibition about our personal, scientific, environmental, and world relationships connected by water. Our water planet is unique: a gift revered in many cultures; a mystery as vast as the oceans’s depths and the life contained within a single drop. This exhibition aims to pique curiosities, delight and educate through multimedia, sound installation, sculptural installations, documented performance, painting, drawing, and digital video – approaches as varied as the ways in which water touches our world.

Delicate Balance, Baker

Microscope view, Baker

Works created by 14 national and international artists will be on view, including Krisanne Baker and Kristin Malin.
