Look Fantastic Beauty Box - May

So, I just woke up. Oops. Last night I was up until around 4am attempting to power through all of my work for the next few weeks, and you know what? Today I'll be doing the exact same thing. I wish I had something exciting to update you all with, but unfortunately all my life revolves around right now is University coursework, working and blogging. Hey, that sounds like a good idea for one of my next posts. How to juggle a full time job, University and blogging. What do you think? Seriously, I'll do anything to distract me from this pile of work.

Anyway! I received this box from LookFantastic a little while ago, and since I've finally gotten around to using a few of the products I thought I may as well pop up a quick SPOILER ALERT (!!) and review whilst you can still get your hands on it. And, you know, anything to distract me from this essay.

The LookFantastic beauty box is probably my favourite out of all the other subscription boxes on the market right now. I feel like - as someone who leans more to skincare-y type things than colourful makeup - it's more suited to things I'd actually go out and buy, as opposed to eyeshadow quads and neon coloured liners that I'd never really get much use out of. They cost £15 including postage and packing (which is pretty good if you ask me) but you can also buy different subscription plans depending on how long you wanna treat yourself for. Forever pls.

This month's box is probably my favourite so far, quite possibly due to the big bottle of TanWorx fake tan by Monu Skincare (worth £10) and the sample pot of the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm (worth £4.60). And that ridiculously cute bottle of the NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil (worth £4.20). And don't even get me started on that Christophe Robin Regenerating Hair Mask (worth £10). Okay okay, I pretty much love everything in this freakin' box.

The May box also comes with a set of pre-glued Eylure false lashes (worth £5.25) and a sample of the Erno Laszlo Transphuse Night Serum (worth £11.51). I'm pretty much up to my eye balls in serums right now, but hey, a girl can never have too much skincare, right? As for the lashes..if you haven't already noticed by now I'm a bit of a hairy-faced kinda gal. Let me re-phrase that. I basically have long eyelashes anyway. Either way, sometimes it's fun to experiment with different types of beauty bits, and considering that these are already pre-glued I'd imagine they're fairly fool proof. Failing that, I'll just glue them to Ollie in his sleep and/or give them away to a friend.

Forty of the May boxes also contain a god Curve worth £110. I'm not one of the lucky forty, so obviously I'm all jealous and stuff if you are. But yeah, I guess that's pretty cool too. Boys and gals that also pre-order the June box will receive a sample of the REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask - AKA that mask that pretty much every beauty blogger in the world raves about. Can I has?

What do you think of this month's box?
