Welcome to the first round of weekend links in 2015! I guess this means I’m finally back in my routine… ish. The year has kicked off for me with some awesome projects around here, and my schedule is bursting with interior design projects, moving into a new house, and planning a few parties too…
1 // I’ve gotten the green light from my guy on revamping our bedroom. Top of the list? Striped sheets. Yes please!
2 // Just like everyone else, I’ve been attempting to eat better in the new year – or really just find recipes that are satisfying and healthy. This Kale & Chicken Salad is on the list to try this weekend!
3 // Big news alert! I’m heading to Morocco for a week at the end of February to join my friend Annette for her food & prop styling workshop. AND, we’re staying at the fabulous Peacock Pavilions. I don’t think it’s sunk in that this is actually happening. And now that I’ve booked my ticket, I’m already wishing I’d made it for longer, but oh well. There will be more time for travel… I’ve got a new house to get home to!
4 // This green fedora was at the top of my Christmas list, and of course it sold out… but it’s baaaaaack! So get it while you can if you love it!
5 // Talk about classic pieces – this mirror is one of those can can go in any home. Anywhere. I love the tone of the wood and the simple shape. Now I just have to find a spot to put it…
6 // Along with everything else going on at the moment, I’m in the midst of throwing a little (or maybe not-so-little) shower for my best girl Erin at Apartment34 (evidence of bump and her favorite pregnancy pilates moves here!) so I’ve been hunting for some more grown-up inspiration for the party. This moody dinner party (and yes, shower) might be my favorite yet.
Here’s to a stellar weekend for all! I’m off to style a client’s home today, which sounds like the perfect Friday to me. Followed by packing and birthday celebrating for my guy tomorrow! Oh, and lest I forget… Go Hawks!
