Heavenly ceremonials

I rather consider myself as someone who prefers to avoid thick crowds and outdoors dependence on weather. I love music, but I'm not a festival person. Even though I'd normally decide to watch a concert comfortably at home, for a few years now I had known there was one I promised myself to go to. I've never stopped loving Florence and The Machine since the very first hearing of You've Got the Love, and I had felt obliged to see them live one day. Countless amounts of videos had been seen and inspirations drawn, and eventually, last weekend one of my goals was achieved, one of my dreams fulfilled. Every moment of the live performance was exciting. The temperature down under the stage was instantly increased when the already iconic harp was placed upon it, followed by the microphone with a black diamond and a canvas imitation of church stained glass behind. It was not only due to the amazing luminosity coming from the stage that my happy face brightened even more, but also the appearance of Isabella, the keyboard player, and Robert, the guitarist. (By the way, did you know that Isabella is currently working on a debut album of a band she founded herself? How brilliant?!) The peak of my exultation was reached when Florence came in. I was lucky enough to stand quite near the stage. I was struck by her beauty - so fresh, bright, just impeccable. Florence's black volatile dress was just perfect. Then she started Only If For a Night, and my night got full of heavenly delights till the very morning. The glitter with which Florence sprinkled the band, the stage, the audience. The wreaths Florence collected from the crowd and nobly placed on the stage in the raving smoke. The way she communicated with all the listeners, the kind words, her humbleness and appreciation. All that was so pure and enchanting. I couldn't help but sing every song as loud as I could, with my arms continuously up and hands sensually dancing with air. I've been following Florence and The Machine's growth since seeing a video of a small performance of My Boy Builds Coffins in a London park. And today, they're just huge.
