three. when your Mom comes to town

My mom flew in last night and is staying until the 17th! We haven’t been together since January 3rd and I feel like its been a century. Here’s to lots of laughs, yummy dinners, and finally having someone around to play with my hair.

four. ridiculous weather

It was literally 76 here in North Georgia on Wednesday. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the air smelled like spring was coming. Today I woke up and it. was. SNOWING. Flakes were falling and the temperature was around 32. Hmmm…I think Mother Nature is confused.

five. when your blog introduces you to great friends

So far, I’ve met a few people through my blog…and it’s always funny when I explain to someone how we “met.” One of my readers turned real-life-friends and I have so much in common its crazy. She has a beautiful daughter who is only a week older than Annabelle, she has a teaching degree, and she is a fellow Northerner. Kim is gorgeous, funny, and talks fast like me. She reaffirms my belief that some people are put in your life for a reason!
