Ice Day

No school!!!

Yesterday we were closed for President’s Day and I spent my time off hanging out with my mother-in-law and Annabelle. We knew there was a chance it could get icy in the evening, but had no idea we would end up with a real life Frozen kingdom outside.

Elsa came around 8pm and froze all of our trees, plants. and grass. Then our power went out. Then my Principal called for a Cyber School Day and I celebrated by staying up until midnight reading “Still Missing.” It was the only book on my iPad I hadn’t read and it was too dark to read a real book! I am over halfway through, but completely hooked while being totally disturbed. It is about a realtor who gets abducted and help captive by a pscyhotic man… I won’t tell you much else, other than I recommend it and hope you don’t have nightmares after reading it.

Our cable isn’t really working today, so hopefully in between chasing this little nutcase around, I can finish the book. I’d also like to play with my camera a bit and figure out how to take photos that don’t blur at the bottom like this. Any suggestions?
