Review: L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara

This is a review of the L’Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara. In general, I tend to like L’Oreal mascaras, with my favorite being the L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara. The Miss Manga mascara was one of the monthly favorites of a Youtuber who I view often, so I was very interested to try this out.

What it does: (from the L’Oreal website)
For the first time, L’Oréal Paris creates a flexible brush with a unique conical shape to catch those hard to reach lashes with an incredibly even application. The Mega Impact Formula instantly builds oversized volume for 15X lash volume in a flash. Top lashes are amplified and bottom lashes maximized for the ultimate wide-eyed Manga Look.

Price: Will vary. L’Oreal’s website lists this product for $8

Availability: L’Oreal products are available in the US at drugstores and discount stores.

Wand: This mascara has a cone-shaped natural bristle wand. The wand itself is long, but not very huge, making it easier to apply especially at the corners of my eye.

Pros:

• This product gave good volume to my eyelashes
• As with many other L’Oreal mascaras, this product clicks shut. This ensures that my mascara is closed properly.

Cons:

• I felt that this wand picked up too much product. I needed to blot it with a tissue before using, especially at the tip of the wand, to prevent clumping
• I got some smudges under my eye after wearing this product for 5-6 hours

Would I repurchase? No. While I initially liked it, I realized later that my under eye smudges were coming from this product.
