Move Over Chubby Stick! GOSH Giant Blush Review & Swatches

Everyone and their auntie are obsessed with Clinique chubby sticks – apart from me. I’ve tried one Chubby Stick lip colour which was just ok (I liked it at the time but I never really reached for it again) - I didn’t feel the urge to buy any more. I am impressed with the fact that Clinique have made it into their ‘thing’ though, and naturally other brands have followed in creating a big range of chubby lip colours and blushers.

GOSH cosmetics, who I have a soft spot for, have a range of Giant Blush – similar to the Chubby Blush sticks.

I have 3 shades, 02 Shy, 04 Passion and 08 Pink Passion.

02 Shy – neutral beige.

04 Passion – hot sheer pink.

08 Pink Passion – deep warm watermelon pink.

I have been using these for a while now and I really like them! I do like cream cheek products anyway but I was worried these would be too greasy – when swatched they have a shine. Having said that, when I used these they settled and were not shiny at all on my cheeks. They are also pigmented but easy to blend in too giving a natural glow.

My favourite shade of all is 04 Passion which is a medium pink. You can use these on your lips too if you want, they’re not drying so are fine for that. On the cheeks:

Shy is the most subtle, it’s neutral and would show up better on people paler than me.

Passion is more neutral once on the face, but gives a nice glow and I think would suit most skin tones.

Pink Passion is brighter than Passion and works nicely on the lips too.

These sticks are huge and would last quite a while. I quite like having a virtually fuss free blusher in stick form and yes, I would definitely go for Passion if I could only choose one.
