Fall Beauty Buys
Fall is here for most of us up north, and maybe even some of you down south too. It’s time to start thinking about fall beauty, and for me a few items always make an appearance when fall comes around. Some are beauty related, and some are more skin and body care for those dry fall and winter months. Check out what I, along with the other Beauty Council members, chose for the fall beauty buys!
1. Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette – My friend from Swatches and What Not helped me purchase this early, since she is a VIB Rouge. Everyone else will get their chance at it on the 1st of October. The shades are so gorgeous, and I just love the quality of Hourglass cosmetics.
2. Badger Balm – I have reviewed this previously, but this product is awesome for my nails and cuticles, not to mention how fast it works on dry heels and elbows. I love this stuff, and it is especially good in fall and winter.
3. Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Best Red – This is another product I have reviewed, and when fall hits I bring out my dramatic lippies. Red is a classic fall shade for me, and Milani makes a great one with Best Red.
4. Carmex – This is a holy grail item for me, and it is dirt cheap. I buy mine at the Dollar Tree. It has to be the pot form. It just works better. This has my lips transformed overnight from dry and chapped to moisturized and plump. Love this stuff, especially for getting my lips prepped for bold or matte lipsticks.
5. Milani Bella Emerald – Emerald greens are another staple color for fall for me, and Milani knocked it out of the park with their Bella Eyes Gel Powder eyeshadows. Bella Emerald is stunning, and a must have for fall and for green lovers.
