Eau de Gaga

I realize being a Lady Gaga fan will mean I get mocked, but I am willing to take the heat. I am not big into celebrity fragrances, but I did purchase her first fragrance Fame (read about it here) and really love it. I gotta admit, the claw on the bottle really called to me. Eau de Gaga has a more masculine look. The bottle shape is pretty simple with clean lines. I think it being mostly black is what makes me think of it being more masculine.

Eau de Gaga is a unisex fragrance. That gave me pause, because I wasn’t sure if I would smell like my dad’s aftershave. I wouldn’t necessarily say I am drawn to ‘feminine’ fragrances, just that I didn’t want it to have that typical cologne scent that you associate with men’s fragrances. Luckily, that wasn’t the case.

The notes in this are: white violet, sparkling lime, and instinct leather. When I first sprayed this on, I thought I might not end up liking it. It reminded me of a bath bomb or some kind of strongly scented soap. When this dried down, however, the scent was clean and crisp. It really grew on me. I found myself sniffing at my wrists or fanning my top to get a whiff (Am I the only weirdo that does that with their shirt?). It really does seem unisex. I would like it just as much on my husband as I would on myself.

I used one spritz on my chest on one on my wrist (which I rubbed onto the other), and the scent lasted with me all day. Yay! I am super happy to add this scent to my fragrance collection, and if you can, give it a test to see if you like it. Maybe a dab on the wrist, and then check back after it has dried down.

Price is $20 for 15 ml
