This week's Currently Journal Card... Edited with A Beautiful Mess & Rhonna Designs apps

- watching - The Leftovers. Oh it's mysterious and hubs and I are enjoying it. And Justin Theroux. Frankly I could care less what the story's about ; )
- reading - Last night I started All the Light We Cannot See, by Anthony Doerr. I finished The Book Thief and it was still gripping my soul - it was really, really good and I can't wait to watch the movie now - so I decided to continue into another story set in the same time and place. I started with the free sample download, but I can tell already that I'm going to be getting the full book and continuing it. ALSO - ready to start How to Be a Woman, by Caitlin Moran, for a little facebook book group I weaseled into.
- listening - ON AN ON, and I like the song Ghosts, especially, and Every Song...and American Dream and The Hunter...but the whole Give In album is good stuff.

- making - lists and more lists, of curriculum purchases and estimated school supplies for the year. wooHOO! Getting my ducks in a row for homeschool bada$$ness *fist punch in the air*
- feeling - like we have a lot of irons in the fire right now. We are in the throes of new meds for Junior Man, resuming occupational therapies for all three boys, instigating significant diet changes for the family, prepping for financial overhaul, anticipating the new homeschool year, and scheduling road trips for a conference family visit combo...all happening in the next eight weeks.
- planning - gluten-free diet in the house, because it might help our posse. We had a two hour consult with a nutritionist today that has a lot of experience with special needs families, and she confirmed that it's worth good try. You better believe I will conquer some gluten-free muffin recipes stat.
- loving - the feel of being pulled forward into the next phase of our life. We've been on a gradual (but steady) incline into new territory the last few years, and it feels like all the paths are on the edge of culminating in upgraded versions of "us." It's been a somewhat uncomfortable journey, as change always is...but I feel a plateau on the horizon. I know I'm going to love standing up there, looking into the future.
