DIY Dresser Drawer Labels

I’m always looking for ways to simplify. Crafty ways to organize and streamline. And in the quest to simplify, organize and streamline; projects get bonus points if it makes life with little ones easier.

And these dresser labels do JUST THAT. Whether they are just becoming independent in getting dressed or they are starting to help with the laundry, labels for the dresser drawers can be a big help for little ones. A little visual reminder of where things are and where things go.

You Will Need

Craft Wood Circles
Acrylic Paint and/or Sharpie Markers
Command Strips

What To Do

If you’re planning to use paint, first paint a solid layer onto one side of the craft circles. Let dry.

Paint or draw the design onto the wood circle – short sleeve shirts, pants, pajamas, etc. You can do it yourself or enlist help from an older kid.

Stick the dresser drawer labels onto the dresser. Command strips are nice here, since they make removal easy and don’t damage the furniture.

Stand back and enjoy a little bit of crafty goodness that makes life just a tiny bit easier for everyone!
