We are taking the week off here at Crafting Connections – visiting with extended family, fighting off early-winter colds, road tripping and (of course) doing a bit of making along the way. It’s loads of fun (ok, with a touch of stress thrown in for good measure – we’re only human!) but it also means we won’t be here in this space as much this week. Before we step away, though, we wanted to share a few things (psst it includes a discount – yay!)
Alrighty, let’s get down to business! First off, it’s Thanksgiving Week here in the US, which for many people means traveling, stress, and the official kick-off to the holiday season (which can be a mixed bag of fun, love, stress, and anxiety). Lucky for you, we’ve tackled a few of these issues before!
Doing a bit of holiday shopping this week? Be sure to check out all our brand new gift guides! This year we put together 5 gift guides for everyone from babies through creative adults (with a special section for the guys, too!) We have gifts to Make, gifts to buy, and gifts to read (books!) We are particularly in love with the creative subscriptions in the adult gift guide – I’d take one any day!!
Looking to do some making of your own this season? You may want to check out the eBook Andrea put together with contributions from 20 amazing lifestyle bloggers. Handmade Winter is sort of like Crafting Connections magazine for adults. It’s filled with over 50 craft and sewing gifts to make, food and drink recipes for a lovely holiday gathering, entertaining and party ideas, poetry, prose and more – Handmade Winter will help make this holiday season one to remember. It will make this season MAGICAL.
We still have several issues of Crafting Connections magazine available, including our recently listed Explore Taste magazine. Get individual issues or a whole set of Seasons (4 issues) or Senses (5 issues) – great to give as gifts or keep for your own little ones. We also have a few sets of Story Stones and Creative Postcards available!
