Saturday Morning Market

I decided to pull out a vintage kimono recently and play the mix master game with some chinoiserie style pants I found in a kids section at a local Salvation Army. I think they are pajamas but I’m not one for rules. Comfort, yes. Rules, negative. The ensemble took on a Saturday morning market look with the bag (yet another thrift store find) but I traded out the wedges for some flat gold sandals and I was set. It’s an underrated pleasure, strolling a Saturday morning market. When you can come away with fresh produce and fruit as well as a huge ice cream cone, you realize how much time you wasted in your 20s sleeping those days in. Well, in truth, I’d kill for those days of sleeping in but I have an active two year old. And he likes ice cream, too. So I guess it works out for us both. {Wearing vintage kimono jacket, vintage Chinese pants, BCBG wedges, thrifted straw tote bag, fleamarket Indian cuff, HSN jade ring, Charming Charlie’s sunnies}
