My apartment tour

I've been meaning to do a post on my apartment for awhile now! Please forgive the semi low resolution iphone pictures haha :). It's a little studio inside an adorable brick & pink building built in the 1930s. This is my first time living solo. I'm a very social and extroverted type, so I wasn't sure I'd like it. But it's turned out to be SOOOO nice. I like to call it Dani's Bachelorette pad. I've been here for about a year now and I really love it.
The location is great. Just a couple blocks from me is Franklin Village where there's some awesome restaurants and bars. I'm walking distance from the main Hollywood area, and a 5 minuet drive to Los Feliz and Silverlake.
My decor is very "shabby chic". Lots of different & unique items, patterns, and pops of color. I simply love decorating. I got most of my furniture from the rose bowl flea or vintage shops. A majority of the artwork on my walls is by friends, relatives, and myself. The main things I was looking for while apartment hunting was wood floors and natural light. Those two factors are very important in creating a beautiful living space. My favorite thing about my studio is the view. You can see Downtown LA, Hollywood, and my palm lined street.
