Miniature Playground Craft For Kids Is So Much Fun!

About six weeks ago I shared with you our miniature swingset made from recyclables, and right after that two of my kids actually were inspired to make some more miniature equipment for our little playground that is just right for playmobil people. Well two great additions to the initial playground have been hanging out waiting to be photographed, and I finally got to work, now that I'm trying to at long last improve my photography by venturing into the manual mode on my camera!

The little monkey bars and sew saw were made by my ten year old with absolutely no help from me, though he was inspired by his older sister's creation, which I'll share with you another day. A lot of hot glue was used, but other than that the supplies were bamboo skewers, both flat and round, and some foam core and paint. The spring was made by wrapping wire around a wine cork, but next time I'll try to get him some thicker wire as this one is a bit on the weak side.

Mini playgrounds created by kids are a great way to bring out the creativity, so get started today!
