Drugstore Dupe Series: Concealers

Next up in my Drugstore Dupe Series is concealers! Check out the first post in my series talking all about foundation dupes for some of the most popular high-end foundations right now. Like I said in that post, I’m sure we’re all seen tons of dupe posts and comparisons but to me they all seem pretty old. I thought it was time to do some new and updated dupe comparisons with so many new brands and products that have been released in the last year or so. So let’s get into post #2 in my drugstore dupe series about concealers!

I think there is a dupe in here for anybody no matter what your concealer preference. For many people who are into makeup, they can be very particular when it comes to concealers. But I feel like these 5 dupes provide a great variety to meet many needs. There is shape tape on the full coverage side of the spectrum all the way to YSL on the sheer side of the spectrum and then a few options in between. Most of these products also have a great selection of shades to choose from.

Personally, I was SO excited to try the makeup revolution concealer. Before it even came out, I stumbled upon some videos on Youtube comparing it to shape tape and was totally hooked after watching those. I love that affordable brands can come out with rockstar products like the Makeup Revolution concealer that can rival cult favorites. But I will let you see for yourself – for only $7 how can you NOT try it?!

Now that I think about it, I think drugstore/affordable brands do a great job with liquid face products like foundations and concealers. I think these are products that can rival many high-end brands on formula, quality, finish, etc. One of my all-time favorite concealers that I didn’t mention in this post is the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. Any ideas on what this concealer could be a good dupe for?!

Anyways, do yourself a favor and try some of these affordable options. For $6 or $7, I bet you will be amazed at just how close these products come to their high-end alternatives. Leave me a comment letting me know some of your favorite affordable concealers or dupes are!
