Fingerless Gloves Galore

After writing yesterdays blog post I started thinking about my own fingerless glove fetish. I made a little round in the house and collected all my makes, while realizing there are three more sets that I made for other people. That makes a total of quite some fingerless gloves!

Luckily they happen to work well together colour-wise, so here they are. The set with the little roses are just sleeves, there is no thumb space. The grey ones have a thumb gap, you can find the pattern here. The other ones have a built-in thumb, you can find the pattern here and even join a CAL group on Ravelry here if you’re interested. The latest ones are the gold and bright blue ones, made with Jamieson’s Shetland wool I got at Trollenwol, a beautiful shop with the most pretty natural yarns in Driebergen. It is this particular yarn Spindrift that I used, and I had a super hard time selecting my colours, out of the over 200 (!!) colours available.

I find myself wearing the gold set and the ones with the roses the most. But I do love and wear them all. Even more so, now I played with them I am tempted to make another pair… I guess that means I am officially Hooked?

PS. Recently I’ve had quite some friendly requests whether items based on creJJtion patterns are allowed to be used for commercial purposes. The answer is no. You can read more about it here in the disclaimer, also to be found at the bottom of this page. Thank you in advance for respecting my pattern rights.
