New Outlook | New Love

While embracing my new outlook on my style over these last couple of months, I’ve noticed myself falling in love with pieces I never thought I would. For instance, these OTK boots. The pointed toe and beautiful gray color make these an instant show stopper. They add sophistication and a level of chicness to just about anything I pair them with. I know we’re moving away from the season of the OTK boot, but I have a feeling I’ll be finding any excuse to wear these over and over again. And then there’s my new favorite faux wrap mini skirt from Banana Republic. I had my eye on the black version a while ago, didn’t pull the trigger, and it sold out. When they brought it back in navy I knew I had to jump on it. Sometimes you fall in love with something online or in-store, but when you try it on, you’re disappointed. Well, not with this skirt. It’s everything I could imagine in a wrap mini skirt and more! It’s on the thicker side, but I feel as though it adds structure and makes it look more luxe. The petite 00 fits perfectly, no alterations needed. The faux wrap detail was the icing on the cake, though. It’s subtle, but transforms a basic mini skirt. No joke, I want this skirt in every color. Could not recommend it more!
