COOL DUDE DAVID

this weekend was a little dreary and cold in la and has even us angelinos doing a little california dreaming. as an antidote we’ve been looking through david hockney’s numerous pool based artworks and thought we’d share in the fun. if you’re not already familiar with this charismatic artist you’ll quickly see that this english man has had a fascination with the los angeles domestic pool culture for a long, long time. not one to be limited to a single medium of expression, pools have served as subject matter and location to many of his paintings, drawings and photography.
