MY FIRST TIME IN NASHVILLE
we stayed at my friend elise’s adorable house in nashville and it was so comfortable and great. swinging in the hammock with friends, drinking red wine on the porch, candles burning and bugs chirping. the only downside was the massive amount of mosquito bites on my body. but that’s alright.
and how great is that light fixture about the table? what a great space to have your morning coffee.

imogene & willie lived up to the hype. i swear everyone told me i had to go there beforehand. such a charming space and i hear their jeans are totally amazing. i got that baseball hat in the photo from there.

we went to a dinner party on saturday night. twelve at the table literally made one of the best meals of my life (read about their intimate dinners here) so so impressed. and ruthie set up her backyard perfectly. live music, cocktails, string lights…great ambiance.
i spent a lot of time with james, who writes the blog bleubird. i built blocks with her little daughter birdie and she was so proud of our building that she wanted to lick it. she says the cutest things. i wish they lived closer…miss my nashville friends already.
we went to a girl’s dinner at rolf and daughters. the food was delicious. pork ragu & the potatoes with calabrian chili mayo…YES.
we didn’t have much time to do more shopping / eating because of blogshop but i got a really lovely first impression from nashville. hope to go back someday soon.
