The Ultimate Winter Coat

Living in New York, it’s nearly impossible not to own a good coat. (A couple if you like to stunt.) When it comes to styles that are both warm and versatile, I’d have to say that the parka takes that prize. What I dig about parkas is that you can wear them with a “office casual” outfit like this or dress it down with a sweatshirt, denim, Timbs, and a beanie. When the temps starts to dip it can be super tempting to let your looks fall the the wayside. While it’s chill for some people to occasionally show up to work in hoodies and Jordans (*cough* me *cough*) not everyone is as lucky. If you’re in a more conservative environment I suggest stocking up on solid sweaters you can swap in and out. Also keep a neutral blazer at your desk if you ever need to turn up the dapper factor. That way you can avoid being overly hot and bulky in your trusty parka.
